The prospect of liquidating the contents of a home can be overwhelming. I understand this and will take care of all the details step by step.

Here’s how the process works:

1. FREE CONSULTATION
   We meet in the home, determine if a sale should occur and if so, decide on a date.
2. PRE-SALE
   A week or two prior to the sale, we arrive to set up tables and prepare all items for sale. All items are removed from closets, drawers and cabinets so that everything saleable is displayed and priced.
3. ADVERTISING
   We advertise in the Grosse Pointe News and on estatesales.net. Sales are featured on marciawilkestatesales.com along with photos of special items and a map of the location. This effective advertising attracts customers from all over, not just Grosse Pointe.
4. SALE DAY
   My sales are neat, clean and well organized with items displayed to attract the best price. The sale is well staffed with courteous, knowledgeable sales people.
5. POST-SALE
   We make sure the house is in the best possible shape, ready for the next step, a new owner or new listing. I arrange for the disposal of refuse and pickup of donated items.   After the sale you receive your detailed inventory, check, donation receipts and peace of mind knowing that the house is ready to be listed or occupied.
